Board Members

Nothing is more important to the health and sustainability of any association than getting qualified and enthusiastic people to serve on it's board. That’s why we’ve compiled here some details on how to volunteer, nominate, and recommend KEY members needed for success.

LALA Board and Committee structure should be comprised of committed members capable of making company decisions.

There are two ways to serve on the board of directors team: 1. Request the association, or a member of the nomination team, place your name or your nominees name on the election ballot, and submit the required board application, so that members of the association will have opportunity to consider a vote for you in the next election. 2. If there is a vacancy on the board, you can submit formal request to consider appointing you to fill the remainder of the vacant position's team, along with required submission of board application. This allows the board members opportunity to fully discuss and consider your application at the next board vacancy.

LALA Action Teams are made up of LALA members who advise the board on any number of activities. Some teams may be ongoing, while others may be established to advise the board in a specific time frame.

Board Members are Selected By LALA Membership And Must Demonstrate Leadership Abilities With A Commitment To LALA's Mission & bylaws. These individuals are tasks with Representing LALA Membership Voice And The Diversity Of Provider Members Across This State.
